Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and KingEasyBuy (Pty) Ltd ("KingEasyBuy", "we", "us"). They apply to your access to and use of our website, apps and services (together, the "platform"). If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

• "Buyer" / "you" — a person who browses or buys on the platform • "Seller" — an independent vendor who lists and sells products on the platform • "Order" — your request to buy one or more products • "Content" — text, images, reviews and other material on the platform

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a binding contract. By using the platform you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you'll keep it up to date.

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or unlawfully.

KingEasyBuy is a multi-seller marketplace. Products are sold by independent, verified sellers — not by KingEasyBuy itself, unless a listing clearly states "Sold by KingEasyBuy". We provide the platform, coordinate payment and dispatch, and offer buyer protection, but the contract of sale for each item is between you and the relevant seller.

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, images, pricing, stock and fulfilment. We review products before they go live, but we don't independently verify every detail. If a listing is inaccurate or an item is not as described, you're protected under our Returns Policy and the Consumer Protection Act.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted, and a contract formed, once payment is received and verified and the seller confirms the order. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund of any amount paid — in cases of pricing or stock errors, suspected fraud, or where we're unable to fulfil it.

Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We take reasonable care that prices are correct, but errors can occur; if we discover an error we'll let you know and you can confirm the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. Payment is processed by third-party gateways (Ozow, Yoco) and other methods shown at checkout. We confirm payment on our servers via secure, signed notifications — never from a browser redirect alone.

Delivery is governed by our Delivery Information. Timeframes are estimates. Because orders may contain items from multiple sellers, shipments can arrive separately. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.

You may have rights to cancel, return and be refunded under the ECTA cooling-off right and the Consumer Protection Act, as well as under our own Returns Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms.

Coupons, vouchers and promotions are subject to their own terms and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. KingEasyBuy Credit is a store wallet balance that can be used as tender at checkout; it has no cash value outside the platform and may not be transferred or sold.

You may post reviews and other content if you've bought the item or are otherwise eligible. You're responsible for what you post, and you grant us a licence to display it on the platform. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, infringing or otherwise breaches these Terms.

You agree not to misuse the platform, including: interfering with its operation or security; scraping or harvesting data; uploading malware; impersonating others; using it for unlawful purposes; or attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account or system.

The platform, its design, logos and software are owned by KingEasyBuy or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify or reuse them without permission. Seller and brand trademarks remain the property of their owners.

Payments, delivery and certain other functions are provided by third parties (for example payment gateways and couriers). Their services are subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond what the law requires.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep it accurate, secure and available, we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every listing is complete and accurate. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KingEasyBuy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

You agree to indemnify KingEasyBuy against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your infringement of any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or where required for security, legal or operational reasons. You may stop using the platform at any time.

These Terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA). Where any term conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first via the Contact Us page so we can try to resolve it. If we can't resolve it, you may refer the matter to the relevant consumer body or tribunal as provided by South African law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonable. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
